Joany brings more than 15 years of high technology public relations experience to Orr & Company, primarily focused on the semiconductor, communications and computing industries. She has worked with both high-profile public relations agencies, including The Benjamin Group and Joyce Lekas Public Relations, and as senior management on in-house PR teams for NEC Electronics, Silicon Graphics and Spansion (on-site contractor). Joany has used her strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to build strong relationships with media and analysts, and has a solid understanding of semiconductor technology and processes.

Joany launched her own public relations consulting business in 1997, and then joined forces with Tanis Communications to provide outsourced communications counsel to a wide variety of companies. Clients have included Mysticom (TranSwitch), Tensilica, Siliquent (now Broadcom), The HyperTransport Consortium and Ubicom.
